Thiha/Myanmar

 

When I was a child,

there was a small black-and-white television at my home. I would watch the international news broadcast from 8:30 PM every day. I also liked to learn Myanmar history. The General Aung san was my favorite for his leadership that realized the independence of Myanmar.

I climbed Mt. Victoria for a school excursion. We prepared in the evening and departed at 7PM. It was December. The chilly air made me feel like stop walking, but it was a fun to climb with siblings. When one of my siblings found the sign of the top of the mountain, we all rushed to that point.  After having watched the rising sun there, we realized that we had walked for more than 9 hours without sleeping.  After having returned to my home, I was down with my aching legs for a couple of days.
